I am a huge fan of Juanes and his latest album does not disappoint. From "Amigos" to "Esta Noche", my two favourite songs on the album, everything in between has Juanes' familiar sound but at the same time sounds brand new. I highly recommend this album to any Juanes fan.

Great CD but not among his best

I am a huge Juanes fan and was looking forward to this release and for the most part it did not disappoint; however it's simply lacking punch and his usual lyrical strength. There is no denying that there is some catchy stuff on this release ("Yerbatero"), but too many middle of the road songs that don't have his usual soul. If you are fan I would purchase it. If you are new to Juanes, try any of his earlier releases over this one.

Siendo un gran fan de Juanes desde que estaba en Ekymosis, por primera vez siento que desperdicié mi dinero comprando este disco. No sé si Juanes se está desenfocando de la música que lo hizo el artista exitoso que es hoy, pero debería revisar el proceso que lo llevo a componer PARCE, poque, en mi opinión muy personal, no ha sido productivo.
Escribo este comentario sin ánimos de ofender a nadie, pero con toda la sinceridad que puedo. Ya les digo, tengo todos los discos que Juanes ha sacado, por lo que no tuve ni siquiera que sentarme a escuchar este y sólo me anoté en la lista de espera para recibirlo apenas salía. Gran, gran decepción.
Pero la lección aprendida es que tengo que añadir a Juanes a la lista de artistas cuyos discos tengo que escuchar antes de decidir invertir mi dinero.
Lo siento, Juanes, pero si pudiera devolverte tu disco y tener mi dinero de vuelta, lo haría.
Yo recomendaría escucharlo antes de comprarlo; a lo mejor sí es el gusto de algún comprador potencial, sólo que no fue el mío esta vez al parecer.

Like most, I loved his early music. His style and outcry for humanity is what caught my attention. Now it seems that Juanes is writing what it is commonly written by all music artists, that is personal sexual need. What I wonder most is whether he is genuinely writing from his own heart or he is following the same trend that many artists like Shakira had followed, what the fad-following fans want. Music of no value that sparkles.
