I bought this for my wife as she does quite a bit of traveling to see family and she uses this to exchange photos. Lots of capacity for what she needs, and works good. It's also very tiny. She just keeps it in her purse.

The USB drive worked great until the day it fell apart. The blue casing came off and the black "disc" slid out of metal case. I put it back together, but I have not been able to use it since. I lost everything I had on it and had to buy a new USB key.

This is a fine idea. Now, if HP could figure out a way to keep it from falling apart.
The protective cap fits loosely and is always falling off. The grip end of the housing has detached itself from the guts so when you pull it out of the machine it comes apart, leaving the electronic bit in the computer. Mine is now held together with a rubber band so I can find all the parts in my pocket or computer bag.
