Came in fast, and a "like new" condition. As a refurbished product, it's a fantastic buy! The only thing I did not like is that it came with a previously used PSN account on it. It took a few hours to figure out how to remove it, and it retained credit card information from said account until I deleted it.

Let's face facts: Nintendo still dominates the handheld market. It's Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Game Boy Advance and their successor, the Nintendo DS (in regular, Lite, XL DSi and now 3DS) have dominated the handheld gaming market for over 2 decades. The 90's and 00's are littered with the corpses of failed attempts to break into this market; names like Game Gear, Lynx, TurboExpress and N-Gage are spoken of in sad remembrance, with some saying, "If only it caught on."

Only one handheld was ever able to hold out and steal enough of the market from Nintendo; Sony's PlayStation Portable. With it's ability to play games, movies and music from either a memory stick or a UMD, the PSP was able to hold on, even though the first few games were mediocre. As the years went by, the game improved and the PSP even broke Nintendo's dominance, at least in Japan.

Now, both Nintendo and Sony have a new challenger in portable gaming fun. With the rise of smartphones, the iPod touch and tablets. there is more competition. Movie UMDs were a hard sell, but with iPod/iPad/smart phones being able to play digital copies (often includes with the DVD), most abandoned the format. Sony even had it's own digital movie store and even made a UMD-less PSP, the PSPGo. With Nintendo updating the DS to the 3DS, Sony looks to regain lost ground with the PlayStation Vita

With the Vita, Sony shows that it has listened to some of the criticism of the PSP. The Vita has two analogue thumb sticks, which allows similar controls to some PS3 games. The shape is similar to the classic PSP style, with the Vita being slightly longer, wider, but not thicker than the classic PSP.

It's a great bundle.I love the great hard case. The actual System has a nice sleek Look and is great for daily gamers. It's smaller than expected so it's easy to fit it in your pocket.I got it FEB 20,12 In the mailbox which makes me kind of surprised because the bundle is so small.
