Be forewarned. This is a great controller, but it does not support SIXAXIS. In other words, no motion controls. A real pain in the backside when you are playing Killzone2 and need to lower bridges, or plant D charges. I ended up having to switch out controls.

I generally hate controllers not made by the console manufacturer. The shadow wireless however, is simply amazing. I love the Dualshock 3 but the R2 and L2 triggers are horribly designed. (sorry sony) The reversal of the stick positions is appreciated in some games although the enhanced R2 and L2 triggers is the biggest benefit for me when playing any game especially an FPS. The controller is also very comfortable with quick reaction time and easy to sync with the usb adapter and a nice auto power saving mode. This controller is slightly larger and the D-pad isnt quite as good as the DS3 (although I personally enjoy the size and style more than the DS3) The controller does lack six-axis control unsurprisingly but i don't really look at this as much of a drawback since the feature is not commonly necessary for most games. The shadow wireless may be one of the best pieces of hardware you ever buy for your playstation 3, it was for me. ( p.s. Much more comfortable than the xbox 360 controller for anyone concerned with it being similiar looking due to the reversal of the sticks)

I purchased this controller and exchanged it a bunch of times and every time the controller arrived dead. Either the company who makes them shipped faulty items or I just had bad luck.

Either way I think three broken controllers in a row tells a story of a poor quality controller.

I just bought this controller, cause i like the look of it.
If you like the 360 controller better, or your new to the ps3 and used to the Xbox, this is a good controller to start with.

The PROS are:
+ Analog sticks like Xbox 360
+ Size of it, not too small, not too big.
+ L2 & R2 buttons feels more like triggers.
+ Vibration
+ Rechargeable via USB

The CONS are:
- No sixaxis motion
- Can't start PS3 via PS button
- Feeling of analog sticks are not like dualshock.
- Price, i think at that price, it should include Sixaxis movement and PS start
