Do not waste your money on this pan. After ONE use, everything started sticking. I followed the use and care instructions exactly as written. Disappointed, but optimistic that Paderno would stand behind their product, I emailed Paderno customer service. I was given a suggestion to clean the pan with baking soda, and if that didn't work, email them back. It didn't work, and seemed to make things worse. Since then (Six weeks ago) Paderno has claimed they will send UPS to pick up the pan for inspection... despite three emails from me wondering when UPS will be coming, there has been no confirmation or communication about shipping from Paderno.

Do not waste your money. The 25 year warranty is just words, Paderno doesn't act on it.

These pans are wonderful when you first buy them. What a great thing to find a pan that is non-stick but does not have any chemicals!

They come complete with instructions for use. I followed ALL the instructions but I still have a pan I can't use anymore after only 1 1/2 months.

After using this just a short time it began to stain and food sticks. They become harder to clean than the worst pan you've ever owned! The staining is actually food you can't get off.

Contacting Paderno doesn't help. They just tell you to clean it. And that's impossible. Despite soaking the pan for several hours, the stained coating inside the pan does not come off.

I'm a huge fan of Paderno. Really try to buy their product as it is Canadian and I've had success with their product for many years...as well as their customer service. Always fantastic. In the market for a new non-stick frying pan, my husband and I were convinced by the salesperson at the local Paderno store to try the Eco pan. Worst decision ever. We were of the impression (and were told) that this pan was non stick and would simply last longer than any other non stick pan....Paderno, or otherwise. Non stick???? EVERYTHING sticks to this pan! It's awful. We used it at a low heat...as recommended and used non stainless steel utensils....didn't help. I contacted Paderno customer service via email and was basically told that I was using the pan wrong. It's a frying pan.....what am I doing wrong??? What happened to my 25 year warranty??? Shouldn't the fact that it's supposed to be non-stick and it's not suffice? Not according to customer service. We paid over $100 for this thing and it's garbage. So disappointed.

It worked real good as advertised at first. Took extra care but after 4 months or so of uses everything stick to it. I need to use a paste made out of baking powder in order to get it clean. So much for the 25 year warranty! Not recomended!

Have two of these supposedly non-stick pans. My regular metal pans are infinitely less sticky than these things, they are the worst I have ever found.

Worked OK at first but after several uses it developed some discoloration and then everything started to stick to it. You probably couldn't boil water in it without it sticking. I couldn't be bothered with the warranty, instead I just threw it out. Cast iron works much better as a non stick (non PFOA) surface for cooking. So much for technology. Don't waste your money.

I too was initially delighted with my Ecopan, purchased because I wanted a pan free of dangerous chemicals. After a few months I found that it was marked and I couldn't remove the marks, and food was beginning to stick to the pan. At that point, I suspect I did the unforgivable and used a spray, not realizing I wasn't supposed to. The pan continued to deteriorate, so I contacted Paderno. They were extremely helpful and replaced the pan. I was diligent in following the instructions with the new pan--never washed it in the dishwasher, always washed it with soap and a cloth, always used plastic utensils, no spray--to no avail. The same thing happened again. I still use the pan, but it's very badly marked, and I always have to use oil in it. I'm reluctant to contact Paderno for another replacement . . . I can't imagine why I wouldn't have the same problem again. Very disappointing.

I have seen these fry pans advertised before but they were so expensive I didn't purchase them. When I saw these reduced prices on Amazon.ca, I decided to try them, because of my concerns regarding the dangerous chemicals used in traditional non-stick fry pans.

They aren't the prettiest, but they sure work well. They heat up quickly, and all I have ever had to do to clean them is hot water, soap and a dish cloth... even when food residue appears to be burned on ... extremely easy.

I try not tu use fats/oils when cooking, and I fried an egg with nothing in the pan. (The instructions say NOT to use cooking spray, like Pam). The egg came out perfectly.

I am pleased.

Oct. 2013 update: I was looking over all the negative reviews and I'm surprised. I purchased my pans in Jan. 2011 and still going strong. I have no complaints at all with them and I stand by my 5 star rating.
