From Library Journal
Nice offers a large-format color exploration of the natural world in broad context. The forest scenes, the coral reef, and desert themes help create a substantial manual in an up-to-date format. If the budget is tight, Dover offers a reprint of Sy and Dorothea Barlow's Illustrating Nature (1997), which has a preponderance of black-and-white illustrations. But spring for Nice's volume if the budget allows.
