Have always been a fan of Panasonic products, but this radio alarm clock appears to be a major exception in terms of the user experience. This is probably one of the most frustrating products I have ever purchased in retail consumer electronics. No thought has been given to the placement of control buttons - the buttons which are rarely used for setting time are located at the front, whilst the buttons in daily use are hidden on the side. This device desperately calls out for a remote control (which is not available). Panasonic designers need to visualize the experience of people waking up to the device and realize the issues facing owners of this product. The downloadable Apple software for this product does little to enhance the usability of this very un-intuitive product.

Works great so far, in my opinion it was a bit pricey but I had a amazon giftcard lying around.
Pros - Adjustable brightness LCD, pretty straight forward alarm/radio and dock works fine with my iphone 4. I believe theres an app you can download onto your iphone that syncs with this dock
Cons - doesn't come with a battery, so if your power goes out alot in your neighbourhood and you dont want to reset the time etc then you gotta get yourself a battery for backup power. No remote option

Love this alarm clock! Bought it for my husband for Christmas. It is compact enough to fit on a bedside table.. works fine without iPod.. sound is awesome!

great sound quality
This docking station has great sound quality for both iPhone and radio use. My only complaint is that I find the control buttons (alarm, volume, input) are awkwardly placed.
