Received this in quick time. Definitely an improvement over our old one (B+D)It has a more even texture through the loaf than a vertical one and we only had to make very minor adjustments to the breadmaker recipe we have used for 15 years. Does seem to have a more vigorous kneading action and tends to motor a bit on the table. 1/2 cup white flour, 2.5 cups multigrain both slightly rounded. 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 rounded tbsp dry yeast,1/4 cup flax & sesame seeds ground slightly ( grind flax 2 sec & add sesame), 3 tbsp canola oil. 3 TBSP apple sauce, add sugar and make up to 12 liq.oz.with water. If rough crust add a little more liquid. 4 hours.

I bought this machine based on online reviews and it didn't disappoint. I had it set up and baked my first loaf the same day I bought it. Just make sure you read the instructions on how to put it together (especially the little paddle which mixes the dough) and you'll have bread in no time at all. The booklet that comes with the machine is useful and I haven't had to buy a separate book because it provides quite a few recipes. I also made pizza dough which turned out perfect. It is a smaller machine and I bake the medium size loaf which is great for 2 people.
