Well designed and clearly written,
Paper Plus explains how to recycle ordinary household paper into works of art. The first half demonstrates the basics of papermaking itself, and in addition to using the standard deckle and mold it also covers hand-casting and dip sculpting and provides recipes for 10 different, beautiful types of handmade paper (flecked, mottled, confetti, and others). Scattered throughout this section are terrific "hot tips," such as adding lavender seeds that will release an aroma when the finished paper is torn. The second half is devoted to more than 30 lovely projects utilizing the papers, including note cards, bookmarks, ornaments, jewelry, a lampshade, and a dream catcher.
