5.0 out of 5 stars Helpful in understanding and planning, Jan 13 2008
This review is from: Parenting Your Parents: Support Strategies for Meeting the Challenge of Aging in the Family: Second Edition, Revised and Expanded (Paperback)
This book is a bit of a sleeper. The title made me think twice and not share with my parents. But the content gave me excellent guidance, excellent planning tools, and a sense that the authors really, really know exactly what I am going through. This book has helped me more than anyone or anything so far!

5.0 out of 5 stars Practical and Long-Term Useful!, May 12 2004
By
Albert (Detroit, Michigan) - See all my reviews
I purchased this book because a friend recommended it. I have been experiencing difficulties with my elderly father, who is 95. This book was most practical in advising me, in many aspects of caring for not only my father, but also myself: emotional/psychological, financial, safety concerns, long-term planning, etc.
I would recommend this book to anyone currently experiencing difficulties with eldercare, who to anyone who wishes to prepare in advance (this is what I should have done... prepared).
