Review

'I can't think of a child of 10-plus who could fail to enjoy Percy's adventures ... the fusion of the magical with the mundane and modern gives the series its edge' - Amanda Craig, The Times 'Funny and fast-paced ... Percy is a hero that every kid will want to emulate' Sunday Express 'Funny ... very exciting ... but it's the storytelling that will get readers hooked. After all, this is the stuff of legends' Guardian 'Vastly entertaining' Independent 'Cool, mad and very funny!' Flipside --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.

Format: Paperback
As series do, this book continues to escalate the threat of Kronos. The story outlines basically they have to traverse the ancient greek labyrinth constructed by Daedalus. With as many threats as can be mustered inside the maze it creates for a fun atmosphere while creating tension on the potential attack that will happen on Camp Half-Blood. A nice step forward in the series for the main story, while continuing and building Grover's quest for Pan.

With the development of characters such as Rachel Dare, and Nico as a Demi God, the book adds some nice new characters and myths. As well Percy's abilities keep increasing as it goes along. If you've read the first three, I shouldn't need to convince you to keep going though!

Excellent book for teenagers and the entire family. Kids may learn about the principal Greek myths, heroes, and gods. As gripping as the Harry Potter series.

I'll have to say it's one of my top 3 favourite books. I finished it the day before it came out because people at the book store put it on the shelves a bit early (3 days early actually). The way it ends makes me hungry for more! It was really nice, I have say there's a very faint decrease in the humor, but that's okay because the twists, turns and surprises were great in amount! To conclude this review, all I have to say is "Bravo, terrific book".
