"Personal Transformation," especially for this reader with a close relative who has lived most of her life deaf, was a revelation, as Kiril Sokoloff opened this world for the first time to those of us who never before understood what it could ever be like simply not to hear. Also knowing that the author is among the premier financial analysts in the history of modern business makes it all the more remarkable. How on earth did he do that? This book tells us how. Mr. Sokoloff loves quotes, and this book reminded me of what Alistair Cooke said about Edward VIII -- that he was "at his best only when the going was easy." To do what Sokoloff has done, under his circumstances, when the going was anything but easy, is an inspiration in a time when there are very few inspirations around.
Mr. Sokoloff should be very proud of himself.
