Great Wheeled Pet Carrier March 28 2011

Bought this for my cats, and am very pleased with the convenience. I originally purchased the smaller size, but it simply was not roomy enough for my big cats to lie down while traveling. Still liked the convenience and design of the bag, so I just purchased the next size to accommodate even my largest domestic cats. Would not want to be without this convenient carrier.

Roomy, but has issues Nov. 2 2013

I bought this carrier as a replacement for another for my 18 lb. cat. We travel between two houses bi weekly, and we do our best to make this three hour trip comfortable for our kitties. This carrier is very roomy and the cat still doesn't like carriers but seems to appreciate the extra space and being able to sit up. The wheels are convenient if you are in a place you can roll it. The cat is large so I'm not sure how convenient it would be as a back pack.

The downside - the handle is in back, and the overall structure in the front is flimsy, so you can't just pick it up by the handle and carry it. The cat falls forward and the whole carrier bottom swings back and it becomes very awkward and uncomfortable for the human and the cat. This means that if you need to carry it up and down stairs, over curbs, etc you have to pick the whole thing up from the bottom, which is very inconvenient. It really only works as a roller - and then only if you don't have any obstacles in the way.

No more sore back!! July 16 2010

I have 2 cats, sisters, who have to go everywhere together. They weigh about 25 pounds total and it was very hard to carry them in a regular carrier.
This has room for both of them and with the wheels, I don't have to pick it up and carry it, except to get them in and out of the car, which saves my back!!
I haven't tried it as a backpack, but I love the wheels to roll them around. I would recommend this carrier to everyone!!

Wonderful! I love this Carrier. Dec 9 2013

This carrier is wonderful. It is so easy to get my senior cat in and out. It lets her see everything that is going on. The only thing I wish they had was an actual handle on the top. There is one on the back, but when I use it the carrier tips forward and is a little awkward to carry.

Worked great! Oct. 10 2013

I bought this carrier to bring my 14 pound Pomeranian on vacation with me. She is also proportionally taller than the breed standard Pomeranian. It was perfect! It was well made and sturdy and I feel it was really worth the money. It was actually a little big for my dog height wise and a bit bulky when used as a backpack, however, I wanted to use it as a car seat for a long drive and wanted to make sure it was big enough for her to be comfortable. As a carseat it was excellent. I purchased a nice thick sherpa liner and folded it to put in the bottom to make it more comfortable as the bottom is hard and that worked great. My girl was able to curl up to sleep in the car seat or stretch out and lay her head on the edge of the zippered bottom or she could sit up and look out the window. She seemed to like the seat and was very comfortable. While shopping in stores I zipped her in and used it as a back pack. She had plenty of head room and I didn't feel that I was cramming her into anything and nobody gave me any problems for having a dog in the store. As I said, it is a little bulky and I probably could have fit her in the smaller version, however, I feel I would have been cramming her in and felt better that she was comfortable in the bigger version. I also used it as a pull cart at times between stores and it seemed to work very well. I was very, very happy with the backpack and look forward to many more vacations using this.
