Product Description

Product Description

Charlie hates being the middle child, especially when it comes to the family pets. His older brother has his own lovable mutt, Bowser, and his little brother has a loyal cat, Meowser. But now Charlie finally has a dog of his own—a dachshund who will adore him, and only him. The dog has shining eyes and a proud little head and walks with this adorable strut like he's the king of the world, so of course Charlie names him King.

There's just one problem...

The new dog loves Charlie, but he doesn't get along at all with anyone else! Other dogs, other people, Meowser—King barks like crazy whenever anyone tries to get close to him. Is there anything Charlie can do to make his new pet a part of the family... before they all give up on him?

A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com

Want a book that will keep you reading all night? If so then read Dachshund Disaster.
This is a book that is boring when you first start to read but the farther you read the better it gets. There
are lots of things going on so you better pay close attention while reading this amazing book!
The characters are really interesting but are all different. The book is long either.
When you start this book you will find out that Charlie the main character has two brothers. One
older and the other younger. They both have pets but Charlie doesn't. Charlie is finally getting a dog of
his own, one that will love him best. King is the name of Charlie's new dog. He is a dachshund. King Is
energetic and loves to play, there's just one thing. A problem. King loves Charlie but he hates everyone
else. He barks at everyone. Charlie's family, his friends, even the other pets. Charlie is worried. Really
worried. What is he going to do with King?
The whole book is good. That start is boring. But I do have a favorite part of the book. That part
is in the attic of Charlie's house. This is the dachshund's first time up in the attic and he is curious. He
doesn't have a name yet but you know, I told you his name. He was exploring then he finds a dog.
A dog like him. A dog that is him. He starts to bark. Then it gets louder and louder. Charlie covers the
mirror with a big blanket. King calms down and stops barking.
I Learned a few things from this book. I learned that it is hard work to own a dog that barks at
Everyone and doesn't like your friends and family.
The author of this book is T. T. Sutherland. She has other books that are really good! Such as
Runaway Retriever, Oh No Newf, Smarty-pants Sheltie, Bad to the Bone Boxer, Mud-puddle Poodle,
Bulldog won't budge, and Loudest Beagle on the Block. All these books are great! I have read the whole
series.
Before you read Dachshund Disaster I recommend that you read the rest of the series.
Dachshund Disaster is the last book of the Pet Trouble series. This book is great. A really fun book to
read!
I Give It Five Stars.

The story is such a great story. It doesn't only include the troubles with his dog, but with his family as he goes through fights with his older brother. But ends with a good ending. I give it a 5/5.
