5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! May 19 2004
By A Customer
This music is so fun to play! Every time I sit at the piano I feel that I can't leave it without playing through the Phantom of the Opera. The music isn't really all that complicated and the songs are rich and full like the ones on the C.D. I only wish I had an organ to play the Phantom's theme on. Very cool. I imagine my family is extremely sick of hearing me play this music everyday, but I can't help it. : ) All I can say is if you love the music and can play piano... buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brava~ Aug. 31 2002
As a young lyric soprano, with a father who plays piano very well, I have a wonderful time singing this music! Christine's arias and such are in a beautiful arrangement, and from what my father tells me, the piano's adaptation is quite good as well. Likewise, the colorful pictures make the book fun to flip through countless times!
With this in mind , I highly recommend this book to any singer or pianist...for it is both well arranged, and lovely to look at! ~Brava~

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for beginners and pros alike Jan. 3 2003
This sheet music is great, doesn't matter if you're a beginner either! Easy to read and play. There are small mistakes: not all of the Phantom theme song is written down. Also in Point of No Return they say to play an A instead of an Am. Otherwise, great. Angel of Music is probably the best song for beginners. Masquerade is an incredibly big pain in the neck, rhythm-wise.
Get the book if you are a newbie or a pro. Doesn't matter!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hauntingly beautiful April 27 2001

I love POTO! I had been trying to get this music book for ages. It's quite simple, and very suitable for Grade 3 and above. My fav is the theme song of course and 'All I Ask of You' and 'Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again' are beyond anything I've ever played. 'Masquerade' is not exactly my fav and 'The Point of No Return' is quite tricky but all are equally hauntingly beautiful!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great! Nov. 8 2003

Desperately wanting some more piano music, I bought this sheet music last night. Oh, I love it! I don't have the c.d. or anything, but have listened to it once at my cousins house, who loves Phantom of the Opera. Now I'm definitely buying the c.d. though. And like some other people have said in reviews, this music is not hard. But it sounds like it is. : P

4.0 out of 5 stars This is a very good book Aug. 6 2002

They selected the best songs and I'm very glad to have a copy. It's a bit difficult to play these numbers on a harp (I have no piano)... but I like having it anyway, being a Phantom nut as I am. There's not much I can say about sheet music but I recommend this.

I really Liked this book because you get to play the main songs from The Phantom. It really Isn't that easy, but the harder it is the better it sounds! I reccomend this book to all who love the Phantom songs and would like to play them for themselves

Beautiful music. As a pianist I'm happy to say that the arrangements are playable. Some Phantom music is downright impossible, but I really enjoyed this book. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Great music, fun to play
I've been playing piano for 13 years. When I was younger I had the easy piano version of these songs. And they are fine when you're just learning. Read more
