For any person just beginning to understand pharmacology I would highly recommend this book in particular. Its greatly organized and provides you with all the pharmacodynamics..pharmacokinetics..and so on! ....If you plan to order this book, I would highly recommend also ordering drug cards! Roughly pocket size. In my opinion it is actually very fun learning about pharmacological drugs because when its your first time pronouncing a generic name..well you‘ll know what I mean once yours arrives ;) happy studying !

I can safely say that this text book pretty much gave me an A in pharmacology. It is extremely easy to use, follow, and makes complex biochemical interactions seem very straight forward. I only wish this book came in a hard cover because a nursing student's text book is either almost never used or used to the point of wear. My pharmacology teacher told me a great piece of advice "Do not sell this book while you're still in nursing school. You may not know every drug, but if you know what that class of drug does you are ahead of the game.". I kept the book.
