Phil In,
By Carol (North York, Ontario Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Phil Collins - Finally...The First Farewell Concert (2DVD) (DVD)
"Phil Inn" was the "nom de l'air" of a local DJ in the seventies on Toronto's CHUM FM. When he wasn't "filling in", Rick Moranis was often there.Ask my father about a movie that is 123 minutes long, and he'll take 124 minutes to tell you. I'll take a few words only. This "final concert" is over two hours of fine music. Phil is in great voice and at the drumset. He has wonderful backup, especially the great Leland Sklar, now looking a bit like the old man from the forest, but embarrassing bass players decades younger with his touch and tone. Phil filled in all the gaps, and, if he has stopped touring, there will be huge shoes to "Phil."

One of the BEST,
By K.S. (Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Phil Collins - Finally...The First Farewell Concert (2DVD) (DVD)
I've always thought his music was alright and had heard this DVD was great, so I bought it. WOW!!! I can say this is one of, if not the, best concert DVD's I have in my collection of about 30 or so now. Both picture and sound are fantastic and you'll feel the energy of the concert right from the start. Phil surrounds himself with some of the best musicians and back up singers around. My 3yr old daughter and I watch one concert every weekend and this one is always the one she wants to watch, which tells you it's also a "clean" DVD for all ages.Definitely a great asset to any concert DVD collection.

One Of The Best,
This review is from: Phil Collins - Finally...The First Farewell Concert (2DVD) (DVD)
This is an excellent video. One of the best concerts in a long time. As well as the extras, that are well worth watching! Sad to see the "final" concerts of such talented entertainers!
