5.0 out of 5 stars New to Photoshop Feb 9 2011
By J E - Published on Amazon.com

I had never used Photoshop products before. Bought Photoshop Elements 9 software. Needed a guide to help with all the features. I went to the library and looked at a number of books about Photoshop Elements 9. I looked at Photoshop Elements 9 for Dummies and Photoshop Elements 9 All-In-One for Dummies. I recommend the Photoshop Elements 9 All-In-One for Dummies. It has twice the amount of information and has lots of pictures to help with the 'how to' do things. Lots of good tips.

I also bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 for Photographers by Philip Andrews. It is also another excellent source of information on 'how to'. Also has lots of pictures to help guide with the 'how to do'.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dummies and Complete Idiots Guide to... are the best! Feb 7 2011
By Nobody - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
PS9 for Dummies has all the information I need to work with the program. I especially like the fact that it covers ALL the aspects necessary for operating/running the program in one book and explains it all in comprehensive, easy to understand layman's terms that are easy to use for reference.

If there's more detailed information I need for a specific task I can go look it up elsewhere. But this book makes it so I'm familiar enough with PS9 that I know what terms to use to look for the specific information.

This book is all I need to get up and running with PS9. If it were included with the program when I purchased it I would have a full understanding of how to use and run the program right from the start.

Simple, informative and written for everyone from the pro for reference, to the total beginner. I always recommend these books to people for easy reference on a huge and growing list of subject matters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I need Dec 28 2010

This manual is very thick and jam packed with information. Using the software can be intimidating if you don't know how to use it and this book will guide you along the way. Take your time and don't get overwhelmed.
