5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and Easy to Understand, April 15 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Physical Therapy and Massage for the Horse (Hardcover)
This book on equine massage therapy was very clear and easy to understand. It pinpointed specific places to do specific exercises, and gave clear pictures of the anatomy you were dealing with. How to do the exercises, and how to improve your work with the horse in general, was very well explained, and made sense for someone who is not an expert.

3.0 out of 5 stars A little more technical than I had planned for, Aug 6 2006

This review is from: Physical Therapy and Massage for the Horse (Hardcover)
This book is extremely detailed in anatomy. Although I like it, it's a little more detailed and technical than I had in mind for massage and stretching. It's almost like a mini text book. I found it a little on the heavy side for reading. I think this book is only for the most serious of students. It is chock full of technical descriptions, diagrams and some good black and white photos. I found myself skipping around trying to find something I might want to try on my horse but this book really isn't good for that. It really is more of a manual for the student of equine massage and physical therapy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Slow going at first..., Jan 27 2006

Technical jargon galore in the first few chapters but after that the rest is easier for us non-vets to understand.
