Surprised this book hasn't been reviewed yet. A very thorough investigation of Italian cooking - no hum bug, no feather ruffling, instead you will learn pure and simple peasant Tuscan cooking.
Try: Farro Risotto w/ pears & gorgonzola
Crostini w/ Tuscan black kale, acquacotta, and petraia caprese calda (hot chocolate torte) for dessert!
