5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent CD!!, Aug 18 2005

The music on this album is really very refreshing. If you are a prog rock fan with a taste for non-metal/prog (or non-prog/metal) on your plate, then this is the band for you. Some of the material still has an edge to it, which is always nice (and then again some of it is lighter), but it is prog rock bliss all the way. Vocals, lyrics, musical performances are all top notch.

I liked this CD from the get-go, but even then the music has continued to grow on me. It gets better with each listen - there is a lot more going on here than first meets the ear, always a good sign of excellent progressive rock music.

I'm not going to compare them to other bands because I feel they have a sound (and music) that stands all on its own. I just look forward to more recordings by this assembly of talented individuals.

5.0 out of 5 stars finally prog the way is must be, April 3 2005

finally someone that can sing I am sick of prog bands with guys claiming to be vocalist when infact there are just singers/screamers. Long ago when I was young (I am 47 now) a prog singer was someone who could sind case in point Jon Anderson,Greg Lake,Peter Gabriel just to name a few.
Musically speaking a go mix of old influences acoustic guitar we also hear form time to time the basic instruement in prog music the moog synth and the new kids rockier guitar. A real Prog band in every sense of the word I like Spock's beard, Dream theater, LTE ETC don't get me wrong but prog was meant to be this way it's not because you have tempo changes that you can call youself a prog band keep in mind DT,LTE and the rest would not be there if would not have been for Yes ELP King Crimson, Gentle Giant and Marillion etc............

Worth every penny
