Piece in the Hoop,

This review is from: Piece in the Hoop: 20 Quilt Projects + 40 Machine Embroidery Designs (Paperback)
I do not quilt, but own two embroidery machines and think this is a wonderful book! I have made the bookmark which is fun and easy! And I have also started on the snowball quilt on page 23. I did not have a craft iron when I started so I just removed the hoop every time to iron the fabric, but now I have a craft iron, so I will make the press pad, (pattern also included in book) so that I can complete the projects faster.I am sure you would enjoy this book whether you are a quilter or like me and want a new project to make on your embroidery machine!

A very detailed book for those who want to embroider with paper piecing. It is also necessary to have a computerized machine.

This review is from: Piece in the Hoop: 20 Quilt Projects + 40 Machine Embroidery Designs (Paperback)
This is an advertisement without the specifics that machine embroiders need. What are the most popular formats; SEW JEF ART ? What is the size of the stitch field required for the designs; 4X4, 6X8, 5X7, 8X8 or other? I have used these techniques with great success from other sources but I would not purchase this without knowing these answers in advance. I have wasted money in the past on designs that were too big for my machine and all the books with design CDs are not returnable.
