1.0 out of 5 stars Shoddy, Effortless & Misleading Rip-off. TEAR DOWN OFF THE WALL!, Dec 28 2010
By GG Pan "Long Live The New Flesh" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Pink Floyd Calendar (Calendar)
I'm not a licensed expert on wall calendars, but based on my last decade as a yearly consumer of wall calendars, I can say, without a doubt, this is the worst calendar that has ever hung on my wall (before tearing it down 2 weeks later). This `Printed In Korea' piece of work exists solely to exploit the wallets of Pink Floyd fans, which would be fine if it had some level of quality.

It's MISLEADINGLY advertised as Meddle-exclusive imagery, when it's really pictures of the band members spanning the 4 decades from Piper-era to the Live Aid "reunion" gig (RIP, Rick).

And, you know, I'd be fine with that if that was only defect. But no. There's more:

-FLIMSY staple binding. Anything to do with being "Printed in Korea"? It's rather shoddy.
-The calendar begins each week on Mondays, not our usual Sundays. This is rather disorienting, and not in a psychedelic sort of way.
-No info is printed each month beyond the most basic of holidays & the copyright owner of the picture presented. No picture captions or interesting factoids, not even simple lunar information like "New Moon"! The free calendar from my insurance company looks like National Geographic compared to paltry information offered here.
-This is just my opinion, but the overall design is just plain ugly.

Overall, this has the quality of a calendar you would find at Dollar Tree, only it happens to be copyrighted by Pink Floyd Music. What a shoddy piece of work.
