5.0 out of 5 stars The Pirate's Captive, April 28 2011
By B. Howard - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Pirate's Captive (Paperback)
Bought this book back in the '80s and have read it countless times. It is so captivating that I can not put it down every time I open the cover! My book is also held together by tape and rubberbands. I would love to have this book on my Kindle. Kudos to Dana Ransom - Wow what a story!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pirate's Captive by Dana Ransom, Aug 15 2008
By T. Layton - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Pirate's Captive (Paperback)
I LOVED this book!! I also found it in the late 1980's. My copy is also being held together with tape everywhere. My dear husband somehow penned to Dana Ransom and asked for a new copy, which she signed and sent back. He then wrapped it up for a wonderful birthday present!!! So now I have two, my tattered old one and a shiny new one!
Johnny Depp did a great job as "Jack Sparrow" But he will never, never top the Spanish Angel. I wish someone would make this book into a MOVIE!!
Also wished she would have wrote a sequel.
This is without a question......my favorite book ever!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars True Romance, Aug 13 2007
By G. Barajas "Avid Historical Romance Reader" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Pirate's Captive (Paperback)
Has no one read this book but me? I found it back in 1991 in a Spanish Air Base and it was already worn. Through the years I've re-read it countless times, now it's precious pages are held together by a rubber band. Whenever I feel melancholy for a sweet, funny, at times exaspirating romance, this is my go-to book. If your lucky enough to find it, buy it, you won't regret it. It's an oldie but a goodie. Coley & Merri live on.
