"Planet Pit" by Pit Bull is a well-compiled medley of high-energy dance tracks. The musical tracks on this song are definitely good for helping to increase physical energy because they have a fun party feel. Many of the collaborations on this cd are also very good. My favorite musical track on this cd is "Took My Love". "Took On Love" is about the ability of a woman to be enchanting. "Planet Pitt" by Pitt Bull is best to get if you enjoy fun dance/electronica club music that you can play to raise your mood and/or at a public forum such as a party.

Electronic Hip-Hop Mashup... June 28 2011
By LysMO - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This is super fun dance music that doesn't need too much thinking to enjoy. Not quite the same as previous Pitbull albums, if you like a fairly mainstream beat and are a Pitbull fan, you'll probably like this. If you're looking for more hip-hop and something edgier, you'll probably hate it.

Another work of art!! June 23 2011
By DANNY H! - Published on Amazon.com

Planet Pit is the latest offering from MR. 305/Pitbull himself whom has been gaining momentum in the charts in the past few weeks, this album is no disappointment you will like 90% of the tracks that are found in this album, heck even the intro is awesome!

If you have been following Pit since the Unleashed Mixtape days, you already know he's up to the game, or he'll catch up - he's not afraid to try new genres from rap, spanish, now electronic/dance - and Planet Pit is just that electronic/dance with a splash of that latin flavor. The only thing I wish is that an old school freestyle rap flow added as a bonus.

1. Mr. Worldwide (Intro) (feat. Vein) ( !!!LOVE IT!!!- most awesome intro I've ever heard to an album!)
2. Give Me Everything (feat. NeYo, Afrojack & Nayer) ( - current single thats being played on top 40 radio)
3. Rain Over Me (feat. Marc Anthony) (!!LOVE IT!!!- come on Marc Anthony kills the hook, his voice is simply unbeatable, great track!)
4. Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor) (feat. T-Pain) ( - This mixes a flow of hip hop and dance, T-Pain is good in the hook, overall listenable)
5. Pause (!!!LOVE IT!!! Play this in your car with the windows down, great beat !)
6. Come N Go (feat. Enrique Iglesias) (!!!LOVE IT!!! possibly the freakiest track on the album, even the hook will have your head spinnin' oh and btw "im looking for a download")
7. Shake Senora (feat. T-Pain & Sean Paul) (Nice track, mixes the reggae with dance, listenable)
8. International Love (feat. Chris Brown) (!!!LOVE IT!!! , Mix Pit and CB in a track and you get pure awesomeness )
9. Castle Made Of Sand (feat. Kelly Rowland & Jamie Drastik) (Not really feeling this track yet,)
10. Took My Love (feat. Red Foo, Vein & David Rush) (Again , Not really feeling this track yet,)
11. Something For The DJs (Great Outro , great mixing by Afro-Jack and David Guetta ; great club track)

--Since I Bought the digital subscription version I got
Where do we go (!!!LOVE IT!!!!, but why did they cut Chris Brown off, I'm sorry but this is a great track regardless but it sucks that CB will axed , now I'm not a Chris Brown fan, but this could've been a single banger for Pit,, regardless it's still a good track) - the version with chris brown is on youtube.

A Good Recording, but Not Up to Excellent. March 17 2012
By Gary Peterson - Published on Amazon.com

I really enjoy a lot of the modern electronic music, but I'm out of the loop as to what is good and what is not. As such, I rely a lot on the Amazon computer to analyze what I've purchased and viewed and to make suggestions to me. I never listen to the little "sound bites" they provide so almost every CD that I buy turns out to be something of a big surprise. That may seem haphazard, but I've found some really excellent music in this way. One of the latest Amazon computer suggestions was the "Planet Pit" CD by Pitbull. I'd never heard of Pitbull or this particular CD. That's okay, I can listen to and enjoy unknowns.

One of my concerns about any CD, particularly in the field of electronic music. would be the quality of the recorded sound. Some electronic music has outstanding sound and some is atrocious. As a standard for sound quality, I listen to a few tracks on my "Random Album Title" CD by deadmau5 to adjust my hearing intake and my stereo system. I play it fairly loud and adjust the sound to come out crisp and clear. Then I put the Pitbull CD on. The "Planet Pit" sound comes across as fairly good, but not equal or ideal. It's a little too loud, for one thing. I like loud music, I might add, and I played the Pitbull CD at the same volume as the "Random Album Title" CD, but the Pitbull sound came across as uncomfortably loud. Evidently, the producers intend it to be that way, but I had to turn it down a notch for comfortable listening. Also, a lot of the sounds on the Pitbull CD are so blended together they come across as a pulsating sonic mush rather than distinctive and independent sound lines.

I'm surprised at how hip-hop oriented the music is. Also, the East Indies influence surprises me, but I'm just not that familiar with Pitbull. That doesn't bother me any, it's excellent dance music and would be good stuff to play at a party. The vocals seem somewhat overwhelming. I should add that I prefer electronic music with a minimum of vocals. This recording has way too many for my particular tastes, and I don't particularly care for the involved lyrics, if I can understand them. Also, I don't particularly like the way the vocals are blended together as if everything is coming from one or two vocalists, which may well be the case.

"Planet Pit" is not a bad CD at all. I can easily understand it's popularity. It's just not a good fit for my listening and musical tastes (more toward things like deadmau5 or Daft Punk), but that doesn't mean it's a bad record. I have problems with the production qualities of the CD, however, and it effects my listening pleasure in the negative.

Hello Miami Nov. 2 2011

Except for two lead songs, the CD itself is lacking a punch. It is a good party background music though if you don't care to listen to every word and note. Most of the songs lack a structure and mix different styles in just to make themselves interesting. Still the best Pitbull CD ever. Fits in the modern trend. Local interest: if you're from Miami, you'll love the references in the songs. Think the CD will "ripe" after few listenings and will be enjoyable for some time.
