Good performance, less than ideal fit, Jan 10 2004

I actually use this more for voice recognition and office dictation via wireless set up then for my phone which is not Bluetooth enabled.
The instruction booklet was very informative, however the unit, which I chose because of battery life, does somewhat pull at the ear.
The plastic piece that connects the unit to your ear after one week of use has already snapped, and despite crazy glue unfortunately snapped again. The voice recognition part and transmission is excellent and the battery life is as advertised at eight hours after an overnight charge. While sitting in the ear, the buttons are fairly accessible without playing around. I used the Jabra product and the voice clarity on playback was not as good. Now the way this unit looks, you can pretend that you're a Starfleet indications officer, if anyone watched the old series. Overall I think it's performing as expected, and if it just was better able to hang in the ear, I'd call it an excellent unit.

I have tried several Bluetooth headsets, and i found this to be work the best. I'm using it with iPAQ h6315 phone.
Pros
- Battery life is great. Even better, you can change the battery. So if I'm gone for a week, i dont even have to charge it as I replace batteries. Extra battery only $5
- The earloop that came with it broke, so i ordered a few more and ordered the head band for it. The head band is the best thing that you can do with this earpeice. I wear it all day long with no complaints. I yes to try the neck band
- Sounds quality is clear, sometimes distorted. I noticed that if I answer the call using the button on the M3000, the call is clear. If using my phone, people can barely hear me
- It has multiple accessories, headband, neckband, extra battery, and various size ear loops
Cons
- A bit bigger than the average bluetooth earpeice.
- SOmeimtes you may have to ask users to call back again or call them again as for some reason the the voice is low. I noticed when battery is about to die, the quality is bad

Best Bluetooth Headset I've Ever Used, Mar 23 2005

I have a Sony Ericsson cell phone and The M3000 works GREAT with it. I've had the piece for about 5 months now and I've never encountered the problems that I've encountered with previous bluetooth headsets.
The M3000 doesn't drop calls (or sends the call back to the phone) at random, it doesn't run out of battery life too soon (the battery on the M3000 actually lasts longer than the battery on my cell phone), and it is more comfortable than most headsets I've worn.
Some people complain about the fit of the earpiece, but I was surprised at how well it stays put and how I barely notice that it is there. Great reception too boot.
There are some issues with reception at a distance from my phone when I'm at home (I'm pretty sure that my wireless network is aggrivating the signal), but it is not that bad.
For the price Amazon is selling it for...there is no comparison.
Oh yea, I dropped it on the concrete the other day, expecting the worst, it didn't affect funtionality one bit. AND a big plus is that you can change the battery if it starts to lose the ability to hold a charge. The M3000 will last as long as you can manage to not lose it.
