4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for the price Jan. 16 2011
By Aveonx
These earphones are amazing for the price ! Around 25 $ + tax when I payed them. These earphones are great and perfect for playing video games on Pc.

Pros: Incredible quality of sound, especially for gaming. You really hear all of the detailled small sounds (for example, in call of duty, when you are near some garbage, i heard flies !) and you can easily locate from where the sound is coming, thanks to the stereo 2.1 .

Cons: The mic power is ok. Sometimes, you need to talk louder in it if you want that your friends understand what you say, but overall its not a problem. Also, the closed-ear headphones can make your hear hot after 3-4 hours straight of gaming, but this is not really a problem since I usually play less than this in a streak. The bass could have been more powerful, but for a 30 box headset, it is very good.

This product is amazing and I recommend it for gamers who want to play pc games and who dont want to pay too much for it. For 30 dollars, this affordable headset is really good for gaming and will impress you with the amazing quality of sound that it delivers in stereo 2.1 .

5.0 out of 5 stars Awsome Feb. 6 2010
By L. Lutz
When I first received the GameCom Headset I loved them. The first time i used them the sound was so good I thought it was my speakers on that were on. The volume, clarity and sound effects were incredible. It has a thick cord to help protect and prolong the lifespan of them. The microphone also pushes up to the side of them for storage to keep them from breaking and they are the most comfortable headphones I have yet to wear. Anyone looking for a great gaming headset I strongly suggest these as they are inexpensive and will last a long time! I have to say thanks to Platronics for coming out with them. Saving money has never sound this good.

5.0 out of 5 stars It grows on you. Jan. 30 2011
-Nice Price to Performance.
-Gets pretty snug after wearing for around half a month or so, for me anyway.
-Very good Microphone.
-Volume control and microphone switch are a nice addition.

-Like I said, during the first few days, pretty uncomfortable at first.

Overall, I give this 5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good price July 27 2011
Cant complain too much about this headset for paying 30$. The sound is good the mic is good it hides away very nicely. One problem though would be that it is larger and it does get hot which i am more than comfortable with. Also it is very firm plastic and if you pull it apart too much it snaps fairly easily but if you dont put it on like an idiot this is not an issue.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for anything Jan. 12 2011
These headphones are great-quality considering their price. They're not epic quality, although they're very good. The extremes aren't the best, but for an average user who just wants some relatively inexpensive headphones, they're very good.

Have had these for a year; they still work great and are in great shape.
Never use the mic, so not sure on it's performance.
They are comfortable even after hours of use. Would certainly recommend.

2.0 out of 5 stars Landfills Don't Need More Plastic Junk May 31 2011
These headsets are inexpensive and light and very comfortable. The Mic is also not bad.

The Problem is they are light because they are made of all plastic. They use the typical sliding insert for head adjustment. The weakness is to stop the headsets sliding to full extension are two plastic hooks the size of 6 pinheads in diameter. They break extremely easy. After a while the sliding insert loses it's friction and the weight of the ear covers drives the slider against the small plastic hooks every time you take them off.

They are only ~$30 dollars but in 2 years you could easily go through 4 of these, meaning if you bought a better pair of headsets for ~100 you would have saved money and reduced the amount of trash in the local landfill.

This was the 2nd set of these headphones I bought. My husband liked the other pair I bought so when another set of headphones needed replacing I bought another set.

1.0 out of 5 stars Broke after 6 months
As the title says. They broke at the adjustment spot. I had a look online and found that a lot of people have had theirs broken in the same spot.
