2.0 out of 5 stars Lots of static and clicking July 13 2012

Ok product but lots of static and clicking when I am on a call unless my phone is very close. My Samsung HM1100 does a far better job with clear sound

Disconnects quite often although I'm a foot away from my PC. May be the bluetooth adapter that's causing this, not the headset. I haven't tried it with another device yet.

Sound quality is acceptable for conversation, mediocre for anything else.

Ear bud is comfortable, fairly easy to install and operate.

If you absolutely need a wireless headset, shop a bit and compare with other similar products. I'm not sure this is the best buy in this price category.

In short, let's just say that my previous 2$ mic (non-Bluetooth) worked better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Superior audio quality July 6 2009
By Mr.. P.
When I purchased the Plantronics 520 I also purchased the Motorola H780. My plan was to do A/B comparisons and keep the best one.

Both provided good noise cancellation but the Plantronics audio was superior. It didn't have that "large hall" effect like the Motorola. A person's voice sounded much more natural with the Plantronics.

As far as fit goes, I preferred the Motorola because of it's light weight. But in the end audio quality was more important.

1.0 out of 5 stars Never had a chance to use it. April 19 2010

Similar to a review I read earlier, I could not get the unit to charge. After plugging it in, the light would stay red for about 5 minutes, then shut off completely. After nearly 5 days of me fiddling with it and giving it those 5 minute charges repeatedly, it still never reached over 2/3rds of a full charge.

This review may be biased since I never got a chance to use the item, but they are out of stock, so I'm forced to take a refund instead of an exchange.

4.0 out of 5 stars Noise Cancellation, Quite Large March 24 2011
By kespino
I bought this Plantronics after having read the reviews online but personally, it was difficult for me to find the right fit. I found that it took a while to put on and I could not find it to place on my ear properly or comfortably. Also, it was a much larger than I expected, however it worked well in cancelling out noise
