I spent $35 for a 50' network cable at the Big Box store last year, so this is a great deal. Just to test it, I was able to transfer a 121 mb video file from one computer to another in 14 seconds, so I can't complain about the speed. To the purists that want 100 mb+ transfer speeds, ignore the cable stamping of Cat5, 5e or 6. Very few computers can pump it out (or receive) that fast regardless of what the cable "should" handle. I'm ordering another one of these cables as a spare.

One of the side does not "click" when it's connected to a a device.I had to tape it on just so that it wouldn't fall out every other minuet. Honestly, spend couple more dollars and get something else. This is pretty low quality cable and if you're in a market for a 50FTer, chances are you don't want this to break after you wire this through the walls just like it happened to me.

It is a bad buy since the plastic coat tares easily baring the wires. This cable will not last if it kinks which it does easily
