This book makes an excellent text book. I used it to teach a class of adult students how to play a hand of Bridge. It complements the first book in the series (Biding in the 21st Century) very well. I intend to use it again in the future.

As one of "those" people who started playing bridge without really learning how, this book really helped me to improve my play by learning the basic principles in a structured fashion. It teaches the fundamentals of play while reviewing basic bidding (captured in more detail in the "Club" book) and previewing defence (captured in more detail in the "Heart" book).
