About the Author

John Peck is the author of Shagbark (1972) and The Broken Blockhouse Wall (1978), for which he was awarded the Prix de Rome. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1941, he has also lived and worked in Zurich where he trained as a Jungian analyst. He has taught literature at Princeton, Mt. Holyoke, and the University of Zurich. Currently, he makes his home in Vermont, where he practices his various arts. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.
