Aeone-it, you should too, Nov 10 2003

There's 13 songs, half of which are absolutely stunning, haunting, mystifying, the rest are pretty good with only 1 so-so. Similar to Loreena (later stuff)in richness and depth of music, and does on a few songs sound like Kate Bush. Put this and Kate Price's Isle of Dreaming in your cd player, and settle in for a great 2 hours. For people who like: Loreena McKennitt, Secret Garden, Kate Price, Capercaillie, Amethystium and perhaps even Kate Bush fans. :o)

Aeone just keeps getting better!, Feb 25 2005

I accidentally discovered Aeone on MP3.comback in 1999. Ever since then, her music has haunted me, spoken to me, reached into me and brought out the Celtic heritage I never knew I had. Her music is powerful, sensitive, stirring... her music is truly a work of art. I'm ecstatic that Umbra Nihili is finally on a CD... that song sends a shiver down my spine every time i hear it... for any artist to be able to harness that kind of power in a song is a miracle just waiting to be heard. The rest of the album follows suit, bringing forth an almost supernatural presence withits beauty. I can't stress enough how much I love Aeone... one listen, and I'm sure you'll agree.

I've been a fan of Aeone since I bought the soundtrack of 'The Mists of Avalon'. She has a hauntingly peaceful, yet strong feminine voice which is wonderful and relaxing to listen to.
Her songs are deep and meaningful that reaches inside your heart and translates its beats and rhythms into music and lyrics.
Anyone who loves to listen to celtic music should buy this album. Definitely recommended!
