Product Description

If you like taking pictures of yourself or pictures of friends and family that include yourself there's no substitute for the Polaroid Camera Extender. It is an easy-to-use extending handheld monopod. You attach your camera to the end of it (it screws into the tripod socket on the bottom of your camera), press the self-timer button, extend it, and say cheese. There's no simpler way for you to get in pictures. With the included upgraded mirror attachment it allows you to see your cameras LCD screen from in front of the camera allowing you to take precise photos.

There are many times when there's no safe or convenient place to put a camera on top of a tripod. And digital cameras are just too expensive to trust handing them over to some stranger to take a picture of you and your friends. That's when you'll really be glad you brought your camera extender with you. Whether you want to put your face on Facebook or anywhere else in cyberspace or just want pictures for your photo album, you will love it. It's great for parties and after work get-togethers and for everyone wants to be in the picture. No more having to choose who gets left out of the picture.

The old fashioned way of holding the camera at arm's length just doesn't do the trick. Your arm's too short to get a complimentary picture, when the camera is too close the perspective is distorted and the flash is too harsh, faces tend to look like they belong in a horror movie. The extender will give you a self-portrait that won't scare people off, Guaranteed. (Well, not really. But it really does take a better picture than having the camera too close to your face). It extends all the way out to more than 37 inches. Besides self-portraits, it's terrific for shooting over people's heads when you're in a crowd or when you want to get a bird's eye view of a scene

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for European Trip Oct. 23 2013
Size Name:Monopod Extended|Verified Purchase
This monopod was perfect for taking pictures together during our European holiday. I had read some reviews stating that the mirror was essentially useless as it was blurry, etc - this is not the case at all. Once you removed the protective plastic on the mirror, it works perfectly. Of course it wouldn't hold the weight of our DSLR but it worked perfectly with our point and shoot digital camera. It also folds up nicely for travelling. Would highly recommend for couples or singles travelling alone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for use in secluded, "messy" spots. Oct. 12 2013
By D.M.
Size Name:Monopod|Verified Purchase
Purchased for using during photo shoots in tight and/or "messy" areas. I do a lot of nature photography and by "messy" areas I mean spots such as marsh lands. This item is lightweight & sturdy. I recommend it to any pro or amateur photographer who wants a lightweight, sturdy solution to camera support.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent monopod at a reasonable price June 14 2013
By D. Coty
Size Name:Monopod|Verified Purchase
Bought the monopod as my daughter's convocation was rapidly coming up and I realized that there was no possible way to hold the camcorder steady in a busy auditorium and on the university's grounds without a tripod or monopod. This monopod is light, easy to transport around and reliable. The locks held when they were supposed to and were easy to unlock when required. The rubber foot even held on the wooden auditorium bench floor. While it didn't make me better videographer, it did make the shots smoother.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Best Monopod for Digital Cameras July 14 2014
By elydoce
Size Name:Monopod Extended|Verified Purchase
Love it. Use it all the time on our trips. Everyone stops and stares at it because it's very nifty. Only Concern is - there is a little rust on the monopod which shows that it has stored for a long time and was never used. Overall, still satisfied.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great small self portrait monopod July 8 2014
Size Name:Monopod Extended|Verified Purchase
Great small self portrait monopod. It extends out quite a fair bit. Remember to take of the protective film on the mirror. Just a few minor things prevented me from giving it full stars. The mirror is a bit flimsy and difficult to insert and remove if needed. Also, if you have the camera in the full upright position, it is not stables and will wobble around. It is more secure when at an angle. Goes small and will fit into a tiny knapsack to take with you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good product with good price. June 16 2014

Size Name:Monopod Carbon|Verified Purchase
For the price I paid, I think it is a very good product. Light weight, very tall and very compact. Sometimes it's little difficult to close it, (gets jammed), but not a big problem.
