Delivery was on time. Well, for the price it is good value. One minor concern, the head is plastic.Suggest not to over tighten.Has great features as per specs.mounted Canon t2i,no problem. Very sturdy. I recommend ,but with minor caution,DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN HEAD.. just a tip.

This is a piece of garbage. I bought this to hold my DSLR camera still so that I could shoot INTERIOR shots for a decor shop and within 3 weeks the turn-handle that made the camera go up and down completely broke off. Then, a month after purchase, the entire base gnawed off due to the CHEAP plastic! My DSLR nearly smashed on the floor. I'm a few days off from the return date and no word yet on if I'll get a refund or not.

Don't buy this tripod. It's made cheaply inside and out and cannot do it's only task, holding a camera.

For the price, it is an OK tripod that can do the job for small home cameras. The quality of the plastic is not great and got I even it with some cut marks and scratches around the edges, most probably, coming like that from the manufacture itself. Looks and feels a bit on the fragile side and the joints are certainly not as smooth as more expensive tripods... I don't believe that harsh and repetitive manipulation of the axes will make it last for a long time but I think it will be more than enough for the small video camera I will mount on it... Certainly not for any professional or serious photography or video work

so far so good. arrived on time, is very lightweight and yet sturdy. The top camera adapter is large and solid with a good locking mechanism. The padding on the legs is great for carrying as is the handle, especially when used outdoors at -28C!
Legs work well and it does stand up to a respectable just shy of 2 metres.
Recommended especially at this price

It is a great tripod if you're into landscape and night photography..

Would be great if it was a bit more durable. After a year, one leg cap (the bottom rubber part) fell off on my last trip to Quebec City and the handle for holding it in hand while walking fell apart. Need better bonding for these bits and pieces.

ORIGINAL REVIEW (4 STARS) Such a great tripod for everything I need it for. (Also was delivered on earliest day of estimated arrival!)

I have a Canon t2i hooked up to it with a standard 18-55 lens and it seems more than sturdy. Although I have not used it outside, which I may do once a year - and if it happens to be windy - I will make sure it is secured. The only problem I found so far is when flipping camera to a vertical position, it won't be completely level with the Canon t2i - as the twist button is in the way (see attached photo). It is only off by mere degrees, but enough to notice when you are taking a picture.

For the price of this Polaroid tripod, you cannot go wrong. Great for beginners :)

UPDATE NOVEMBER 4, 2015 (3 STARS): After 3 fall photo shoots, this tripod was definitely sturdy outdoors in wind, but a few pieces are already worn out. The adjustable twist latch (just above the circle in the photo) that allows the camera to go from horizontal to vertical and every angle in-between seems stripped, it just keeps turning and turning, and won't tighten so the camera will stay "locked" in any position. Also, the twist button that I circled in the attached photo, the one that allows you to adjust the angle in which you point your camera (ground to sky) tightens but whatever mechanism it is attached to does not work. My camera is constantly falling "face-first" on its own, even with my smallest lens: 18-55 mm, and one of these days I think my camera is just going to snap right off.

While this is a very light compact Tripod it is not all that sturdy and is subject to wind movement outside when hooked up to my cameras. The heaviest camera I have right now is the Nikon D3100 and the tripod handles it with no problem when attached with my Sigma 18-250mm lens which adds a fair amount of wight to the camera.

It will serve my purpose of carrying it around while biking around in the summer months with my little Burley trailer also purchased from Amazon. A little sturdier one will probably be purchased at a later date. :)

No problem with the seller, but this product is poor. Save your money and purchase something better ie spend more. I connected my camera (with 55-300 lens) to the mount and in disconnecting at the baseplate the metal tab used to turn the bolt into/out of the camera bottom fell off the first time removing. I didn't over-tighten - just low quality. Most tripods have an e-clip or similar fitting to keep the same mounting bolt held into the tripod baseplate. This just has the bolt passing through the baseplate(cheap plastic) with nothing to keep it retained - the bolt in time will wear free/fall out.

The price might seem right, but even if it was free it is not worth the pending frustration and disappointment.
