The grip is very comfortable to hold, has a side loading battery compartment, time lapse capability, remote shutter relase and an extra battery tray for six double "A" batteries for use in emergencies. I only have two complaints about this otherwise excellent grip. First is the god awful instructions...I had to go on YouTube to learn how to use the time lapse feature. Secondly is the remote shutter release...you have to be directly in front of your camera for it to function...but mine only fired about one time out of twenty tries. Not a big deal as I have a radio controlled shutter release device. So, but for those two relatively minor issues, I would have given this grip five out of five stars!
