Anyone who loved the Naked Gun Movies, this is a must have to help you lead up to the movies in seeing some great classic comedic moments in Police Squad history. This was great because the comedy used is just like in the films. It doesn't have to be crued or rude, is just a great laugh over and over again.

It is hard to believe that they only made 6 episodes. This could have gone further if the television executives had given it a chance. Though many who saw the Naked Gun movies and enjoyed them did not even know that this series even existed. I had seen the TV series when it was first aired. I enjoyed it then and enjoyed again now.

Sadly only six episodes of this classic silliness, made up of standard ZAZ juvenile humor and police procedural spoofing, from the opener's "Now in color!" (for a 1982 show). To add to Airplane's eternal "Don't call me Shirley", Police Squad offers: "Cigarette?" "I know."

Definitely worth the price of purchase.
