Review of Popular Culture May 8 2013

I am a high school English teacher who teaches 12th grade lit survey courses. I wanted to put more of a pop culture spin on the Class. This book, Popular Culture: A User's Guide was a huge help. I think the symbolism of coffee as a modern day cultural icon was inspiring. All the students live in Starbucks, so they really related to this concept.
