Product Description

Rodri and Rico are two cousins unalike in every way except for a shared contempt for their parents' values and a deep connection to their free spirited grandfather, Rodrigo. When Rodrigo dies unexpectedly, his yuppie children are more interested in quibbling about their inheritance than in fulfilling his last request. Determined to make things right, Rodri and Roco kidnap their grandfather's ashes and set off for sunny Acapulco in a vintage Mercedes. On the way, they learn about life and friendship and realize that their grandfather was more free-spirited than they could have imagined.

The plot was uninteresting. The continual swearing was offensive. I couldn't even watch it until the end. I bought this movie to improve my Spanish. If you really want to improve your Spanish, I would suggest such films as, "My Girl", "Legally Blond", "Twins", "The Last of the Blonde Bombshells" and so on. My favorite for learning Spanish is "Jesus", which I bought from a religious goods store (excellent translations from English to Spanish, and Spanish to Spanish. Just make sure that the DVDs you buy have Spanish (and English) audio tracks and or course Spanish and English subtitles. Try using English audio with Spanish subtitles, Spanish with English subtitles, and as you improve Spanish with Spanish subtitles.

I loved this movie! We watched it in my spanish class, and I had to go home and buy it. The story is wonderful, the acting is amazing, and the music is great. It takes place in mexico, and is about two fighting cousins whom take a road trip to alcapulco to fufill their recently deceasted grand fathers wishes. They enocounter many things along the way and find a common bond. I highly recomend this movie.

This movie is very interesting. From beginning to end...you have to watch it! It's funny how they go through so much just to get his grandfather's ashes to the beach...
