I used this in conjuction with the book Potty training in one day and it worked great. After we watched it a few times during our "potty party", my daughter was successfully using the potty. She really loved the princess story at the end and whenever she is done on the potty we give a potty power cheer. It's great in that it teaches wiping and washing also, and isn't too annoying for repeat viewings!

I really liked this product. It was interesting to watch and the child I used it with was captivated by it. The video used clear language and fun rhyme/songs as well.

The only part that wasn't great was the story toward the end about the princess using the potty. It was a little long and the child was losing interest by this point.

When my son was only 14 months he produced his first masterpiece: a long turd squarely placed in a red potty. We were delighted. But he found our delight frightening. I suspect he thought he was growing up too fast and would cease to get our undivided attention. So he immediately went on strike and refused to have anything to do with the potty. Years passed. Now our prodigy had become a flunky. All the other kids were producing potty perfect dumplings but our son insisted on a filthy diapers. In our growing desperation we bough Potty Power. Yeah! My son loved it. In fact he insisted on watching it dozens of times over several months. Did he show an interest in using the potty? No.

What eventually cured my son was this: We refused to clean his dirty diapers (he was three and a half after all) and told him he had to take a shower to clean himself off. He did this twice. He hated it. After that he skipped the potty stage and went straight to using the toilet - like a pro!

All I can say is - good luck parents.

This video has awesome music and uses visually stimulating techniques to help children prepare for potty training. The sounds, songs and actors are excellent. I HIGHLY recommend this video as an aid to potty training your children.
