Book Description
From the Publisher
To quote from the Foreword by physiognomist Narayan Singh Khalsa, Ph.D., As I was reviewing [the literature on Face Reading], I ran across a little gem of a book called, _I Can Read Your Face_. It was Rose Rosetrees first work in this field, unlike anything I had seen before. It was the first Face Reading book that came from the heartand the real truth of the matter.
Now, nine years later, Rose has written what I consider to be another breakthrough book, applying Face Reading to everyday situations with lots of examples of events and people to concretize what she is talking about. She makes Face Reading understanding, easy to learn, and memorable.
Her communication style is refreshingly upbeat, zestful, enthusiastic, and passionately involved . Beneath the surface youll find a depth of understanding about people and the meaning of faces that doesnt exist elsewhere in the literature.
To help bring her Face Reading system to you, Rosetree has included not just the aforementioned 500 celebrity references but over 100 line drawings, irreverent Q&A sections throughout the book, humor, and specific tips for using Face Reading to improve relationships, enhance self-esteem, and communicate more effectively.
This is her fifth book on this subject, adapted from her award-winning workshop. For the second edition, she's added comments about politicians and celebrities of current interest... complete with her irreverent humor.
From the Author
You wont find bland generalizations here, nor will you find put-downs. Instead youll read about personal style in areas like communication, work, and sexuality. Youll discover that people are more different from you than you ever dreamed. And every distinctive talent I describe is balanced with acknowledging a life lesson, or potential challenge, that goes with the territory.
It pays to know more about people. Sometimes it pays literally. Ive been told that many salespeople whove used my Face Reading system have become millionaires, they learned so much about screening prospective clients. This book shows how to anticipate how a person makes decisions, deals with money, and more before anyone said a word.
Salesperson or not, if youre a people watcher, youll gain a lot from this book.

About the Author
Based in Sterling, VA (a suburb of Washington, D.C.), Rosetree also reads faces as a party entertainer. Yes, she has read politicians and celebrities, as well as associations (like the Food Marketing Institute and NAIOP), colleges (like George Washington University and Georgetown University), and companies (like Long & Foster Real Estate and EDS).
Events like these are good places to test the accuracy of Rosetrees readings, since most of the people she reads are NOT the clients who pay her hourly rate. Many event guests have never heard of Face Reading, and none have a vested interest in praising her work. Yet, based on feedback from guests, Rosetrees highly specific readings have an accuracy of 99 percent.
Another validation of the accuracy of Face Reading Secrets is how often her readings are extended. Its not unusual for a company to hire her for two hours, then double the booking. Sometimes hosts will extend the event to prolong Rosetrees readings, as occurred with an open house in Virginia IN 1998. It lasted for eleven hours straight.
Rosetree has taught her system of Face Reading since 1986, and she does individual readings for clients. But her favorite way of teaching is through _The Power of Face Reading_ because its as convenient as a birdwatchers guideonly its for people.
She says, The highest compliment for a writer like me is when people tell me theyve read my books so often over the years, the pages are falling apart and have to be held together with rubber bands or string. Of course, I dont object when they decide to buy a new copy, either. Whether youve read my earlier books or are starting with this latest one, youre sure to benefit from the power of face reading.
