For my son, this DVD is perfect! It incorporates three things he really likes - dinosaurs, robots and anything that transforms!

He wanted me to rent Power Rangers Dino Thunder, Vol. 1 so many times, I decided to buy it.

My son really enjoys the action-packed, fast-paced episodes on Day of the Dino. The subplot is rather interesting (yes, it actually does have a subplot), the acting is pretty good and the guy who plays Dr. Tommy Oliver, who in my defense was 31 when he did the show, is enough to hold my attention.

After watching the last episode so many times, I had to break down and buy Vol. 2 (another must see) so we could find out what happened next!

While the new series of the Power Rangers is interesting and my 5 yo loves it, he was very disappointed with the DVD. He has been waiting for it to come out and when we finally received it, it had nothing but some episodes from the new TV series. He has seen these three episodes (first three) already. The two bonus features of the older Ninja Storm series were nice, but overall it was not what he had hoped for.

The DVD of DinoThunder was as good as advertized however, and people do need to know this. It DOES NOT contain Legacy of power, or back in black. I know for a fact from another website. It is a bookstore site by the way. Volume 2 is called Legacy of Power, and Volume 3 is called White Thunder and both are due out September 7th. I just thought for people who were hoping for both of those episodes and were disapointed that I would fill them in. Everyone have a nice night.
