To the person that complained about only one female ranger, July 14 2004
This review is from: Power Rangers:Ninja Storm:Prelude to a Storm (VHS Tape)
The reason is that the makers are finally paying attention to the original Sentai footage. If you look at Wild Force the Yellow Ranger is actually a guy while morphed.
And really what does it matter that Tori's the blue ranger rather than yellow?
In my opinion Ninja Storm is the best Power Rangers has been in a long time, the writing's better, the acting's better, it's just all around better.

I agree with the pearson who said ninja storm couldn't beat the other seasons ninja storm is boring pop it into the VcR once and you probly won't put it in again I know I'm crazy but I loved the wild force so much better but ninja storm does have good acting better than wild force ninja storm has only 1 girl ranger
tori and shes blue insted of yellow I think this new guy making power rangers has got it all wrong and I think he is a discriminator to females dino thunder is only having 1 female ranger but she will be yellow so thats good anyways the first three episodes are all lame although beauty and the beach was pretty good sorry all you ninja storm fans out ther but wild force is 100 times better.

What's with the editorial review? Lothan? Super Megazords? Did they actually watch it? Basically, the story is, Lothor, banished to space, returns for revenge. He's wiped out all the ninja academies, and the Wind Ninja Academy is last on his list. Once it's gone, no one will be able to stand against him. Three misfit students are late *yet again,* and thus are not there when the place is wiped off the map. The Sensei, turned into a guinea pig during his battle with Lothor, and the Sensei's son Cam, this year's Billy, who doesn't think too highly of the Rangers-to-be but will abide by his father's decisions, recruit them to be the Wind Rangers. I like the way PRNS starts with misfit students on the verge of expulsion instead of the best of the best, hand-chosen for their skills. These guys could *not* be in Time Force or Lightspeed or the GSA. They're playing by ear, don't have it all together. They're a lot more fun than most Ranger teams. Instead of some neat phrase and perfectly choreographed pose, the Wind Rangers, playing it by ear as always, are more liable to say "Let's bust out the Megazord on these punks!" (That's in Thunder Strangers, which isn't on this tape.)
But that doesn't mean I'd buy *this tape.* It's just three episodes. If you must have them, buy a blank VHS tape at any store for a *lot* less than the $...videos like this usually cost, keep your eye on ABC Family, and start taping them when they get back to Prelude To A Storm. Three eight-hour tapes costs less than half what this video costs and can hold a lot more than three episodes. If you don't have cable or satellite, you'll just have to wait longer for it to show again on regular ABC. After PRNS stops airing, thus making this tape the only means of getting your hands on the beginning of the PRNS saga, rent it.
