This review is from: Powerage (Audio CD)
Despite the fact that this album is one of the most underrated AC/DC albums out there, every track on this album is worth a listen, or most likely a few more. the highlight songs on this album are: Rock n Roll Damnation the production is raw, and this album shows AC/DC on a high pedestal. the lineup is: Angus Young: lead guitar Phil Rudd: Drums

an overlooked masterpiece,

Although this album is seldom mentioned among AC/DC's best, it just may be their finest hour. The production is fantastic, the songs are great, and Angus Young has never sounded better. There is an energy flowing through the songs that can't help but make you want to go to the fridge, get a cold beer, and have fun. This album absolutely rocks from start to finish (although the last couple of songs are slightly sub-par) and deserves to be mentioned in the same breath with classics Back In Black and Highway To Hell. If you like AC/DC, you are guaranteed to like Powerage.

Underrated,
By Offensive Donkey (Your Old Lady's Doorstep) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Powerage (Audio CD)
This is one of the seemingly countless albums that are SO underrated (Such as South Of Heaven, Ram It Down, and Psycho Circus). Although I do like Brian Johnson as a singer better than Bon, that doesn't mean this is not a good album. All the songs are good, in true AC/DC style and with those little sounds in Angus' guitar that makes you go "Oh, yeah, that's an AC/DC song", even though youv'e never heard it before. Whatever, all the songs are great and I feel this is one of the most underrated albums ever.
