4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent View of EIM and its Components March 31 2011
By AMS - Published on
As a practioner of enterprise information management and its components for many years, I was interested to see how the author would address the complex discipline that is called Enterprise Information Management. Stephen's book provides more than an overview into the world of EIM and its components, without over-complicating the relevant concepts. The author shows how EIM has evolved from its start in data administration and data management, and explains the need for a more inclusive approach to the challenges of managing the explosion of data for organizations of every size and industry.

Stephen describes the EIM discipline and how the components are related to one another and how they each contribute to the success of managing information across an enterprise.

Any data management professional, or any person who is interested in learning about Enterprise Information Management and how to implement an EIM program would benefit from reading this book. Without too much detail, it is very accessible to the data professional and non-data professional alike.
