When I purchased the book, Practical Loss Control Leadership I thought I was buying a new, unused book. After more than 2 weeks, I finally received the book, only to find it was a used book. There was even highlighting throughout the text. The previous owner was obviously using the book as a part of a course study or in the course of his/her work. I paid over $70 for a used book - I would have liked to know that it was going to be a Used, marked up copy of the book.
I'm not sure if the book I received is the most recent edition - the reprint of this copy is 1992.
Overall my experience of purchasing this book through Amazon wasn't that great. The actual seller (anybooks.ca) has offered me a credit...but the letter is written so poorly it seemed to make me more suspicious - almost seemed like a scam to get my VISA number.
