HASH(0xa5d42738) out of 5 stars Brilliant Essays Jan. 28 2015
By Max Haward - Published on
Format: Paperback
A collection of essays rather than a single sustained argument, but nevertheless a fantastic statement of his mature philosophy. As usual for the man, the writing is a treat.

HASH(0xa5d427b0) out of 5 stars not great Oct. 18 2014
By Mark Pressman - Published on
Format: Hardcover
Stick with Blackburn's Think, and his Dictionary of Philosophy. This one collects some of his professional publications. As with most philosophy publications, nothing is really said, If you mean X by Y, then I respond with Z, but no one sticks to a single thesis, or one that matters. Hedging throughout. Nothing ventured.
