The audio material accompanies the forty chapters of "Latin via Ovid" on 20 tapes or CDs plus an extra tape containing the interim Readings. The recordings enable students to read Latin aloud with pleasure and confidence whilst learning to appreciate and duplicate the rhythms of spoken Latin, and contain poetry selections by the best Latin readers in the country (Herbert Benario, Robert Sonkowsly, and Stephen Daitz).

My Latin teacher wrote this book (Michael C. Rossi)! It's a good supplement to the Latin Via Ovid textbook. It also stands good by itself. Buy this book if you want more practice with Latin grammar or your Latin needs brushing up.

I used this workbook in conjunction to the Latin Via Ovid textbook and found both to be a successful combination. The workbook reinforces the lessons in the textbook and makes it so that a student can practice and apply what he or she has learned. I would recommend this product to anyone and found it VERY useful for my own needs.
