My wife used this to study for the Praxis I test. She was not excited about studying the math sections and even less so after we discovered some errors in the examples given. For example, when showing the steps to measure distance between two coordinate points, the example shown did not agree with the formula. In another section, a rule for converting repeating decimals to fractions is discussed (briefly), but leaves out some key information that would simplify understanding of the examples.

For someone as uncomfortable with math as my wife is, the errors and omissions make it very difficult to gain confidence. I would say that overall the book is no better or worse than many others, but attention to detail in presenting examples is critical to test success, and should be more of an emphasis.
