It went together fairly easily but I did need another person to help get the last bottom hooks on. That part is as the manufacturer stated. Easy assembly. I did not require any other tools or parts.

It feels sturdy enough but I reinforced with electrical tape and will apply zap cords to make sure that the hooks stay over the wires. It looks just like the picture. The two openings are large enough to put the cats in and out easily and I put a cat bed in the bottom. All in all I am pleased with this product. It moves around fairly easily also.

I would have preferred the wheels to be secured with locks but it is rather heavy for moving between the upper deck and the lower deck at my house. It is not as portable as I had hoped but the weight makes it more sturdy.

It is a good product as the manufacturer stated.

met all my expectations, very good product Feb. 1 2014

Although having to cage one of my cats was not an easy decision but since she was getting beat up so bad by the other 2 cats and the vet bills and stress of pet messes was becoming to much to handle caging was the only option. I only cage her when I am not home or not in the house for long periods of time. The cage has been a godsend. She has taken to it very well. It was a little hard to put together by myself. I think had I had someone else to help I would have had it together in 20 minutes vs the 45 minutes it took me. I did use cable ties to hold areas together I felt where the hooks were not secure. It is very sturdy and large enough of for my little 9 lb cat. There is no rattle or nose and the shelves seem sturdy for her weight. I also purchased the corner litter box, and I would not reccomend this box for the cage. You cannot get the box in and out of the cage doors and it is a little to big for this cage. All in all, this product has met all my expectations and I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to cage a small cat for short periods of time.

It's a good cage, but... July 11 2013

To me, this cage seems unstable, but I'm sure all cage this size are like that. I'm just scare that when my kitten climbs on this cage, it might fall down. I tied a string around every corner just to make sure it wont collapse. And what I'm really unsatisfied with is that rolling casters that comes with a cage! It does not set securely under the cage. It comes off easily when I move the cage, and when I tried to put that one caster back in another one comes off. It's very annoying.

Love it. I have three dogs 2 that weigh 100lbs. With the Kitty condo my little one has a safe place to run too when things get crazy.

Not User Friendly. April 6 2011
By Popular1 - Published on
I have several cats and when one gets sick (pinkeye) you must act fast to keep EVERYONE from getting sick. In my rush to keep one cat separated, I got this from Petco. I plan to return this as soon as the Midwest playpen arrives from AMAZON (free shipping!) .
ONE must be able to get in and out in order to administer medicine to a difficult feral rescue PLUS clean litter pan, feed, etc. Both doors only fold down part way therefore; you can't get close to the crate. Thank God I am petit SO I can squeeze my body through this small opening...OVER the do what I need. Plus how are the cats supposed to enter into this pen unmonitored. Even if you leave the bottom door open and the cats use it as a staircase, they are likely to break the door since it's not meant to hold their weight.

Great Condo April 14 2013
By M. Moreira - Published on
I have had 2 of this kitty condos for about 15 yrs or more and they are in a great shape. My cats love it and have a lot of fun in it. I was going to give away the old condos but I think I will keep 1 and give away the other.
I think I will be buying 2 new ones because they are so great and useful to separate your pets when they get sick and also to separate new cats from the others cats.
