This is the only aliens vs predator book I've read so I don't have any others to compare it too. I bought this book way back in 1994 at a grocery store in a farm town. I thought it was awesome, and it was a real page turner for me. I couldn't put it down.The book had the big sci fi military feel to it like the aliens movie did. It fleshed out the predator race too. Giving us a glimps into there world, and there culture. When I first heard about the AVP film. I was hoping it was going to be like this book. I was disapointed when it was quite different. they carried over a few things from this book into that movie, but not much. This novel is a must read for any fan of the two series.

well this book is better then number 2 the one that was done by s.d. Perry. Well thats all i had to say but you should buy this book and when you read you just want the second main character to live but it just make's you cry

This book is in a word, extraordinary. From the awesome beginning to the spectacular end, I was hooked, and could not put this book down. Seeing things from the Predator point of view for some parts was very cool and added to the overall don't-wanna-put-it-down feel of the book. This book has a very well thought out plot with many unexpected twists and turns, especially as you get closer and closer to the end. I don't want to ruin any of this wonderful and thrilling book for anybody, you should buy it and read it, I guarantee fans of either of the movie series or even science fiction in general, you will NOT be dissapointed.
